Measuring mechanism has no moving parts and zero wear and tear forever, and it will maintain 100% measuring accuracy for its lifetime.
KEFB series product sarespecially designed for using in the installation places where the power supply is inconvenient or the power supply is unstable. KEFB smart electromagnetic water meter is powered by a built-in lithium battery. It can also be powered by 220V AC or 24V DC. When the external power supply has been cut off, it will change the power supply to internal lithium battery automatically and ensure the continuity of measurement.
If the lengths and parameters of the electromagnetic water meter and mechanical meter are the same, electromagnetic water meter can replace mechanical water meter part directly. It will reduce difference rate between water production and sale for the water utility company, and improve work efficiency.

INSTALLATION
1. The
installation of water meter should meet the installation requirements of
GB/T778.2
2.The caliber of water meter shall be based on the size of the pipeline and
the usual used water flow is no more than common flow of the water meter; and
the installation location shall be avoided insolation, flooding, freezing and
pollution, and convenient for installation, removing and reading data.
3. The sands and stones and other sundries in the
pipeline, such as hemp thread shall be cleaned firstly in case of water meter
breakdown.
4. Electromagnetic flowmeter can be installed in horizontal and vertical.
5. Please leave enough space for repairing, and
installation according to water flow direction on the pipe.
6. Please do not apply too much force when connecting the Electromagnetic
flowmeter and pipe, to avoid damaging
the meter body and leakage.
7. If the water meter is installed on the inlet of the boiler, shall
install check valve on the outlet of water to prevent the return current of hot
water and steam from damaging the water meter.

Low Start Velocity：
5mm/s: Can reduce 3% of water loss
Dual Power Supply：
KEFB electromagnetic water meter can be powered either by lithium battery or by 240V AC or 24V DC power supply. When the external power supply has been cut off, the water meter will be powered by the built-in lithium battery automatically. The lithium battery can last for more than 6 years under the normal working conditions.
Tamper-Proof：
All joints are sealed by high performance casting glue. Hide all screw hole, and sealed by plastic seal
Protection Class: IP68：
The whole instrument with IP68 design can be used normally in the immersion water environment for a long time.
Pressure Detection(optional)：
The pressure sensor is directly installed on the sensor of the electromagnetic water meter and does not need to be installed on the pipeline. The pressure data is directly displayed on the LCD screen. At the same time, pressure data can be uploaded via RS- 485 or GPRS.
