HOW TO USE
Smart prepaid water meter adopts a contactless IC card to store
water volume and monitor water consumption. Customers purchase water volume at vending points and
upload water volume by swiping his IC card on the induction area of water meter
inside or to activate valve, which will open valve automatically to supply
water.
During the period of water supply, the built-in microcomputer of water meter will automatically check and subtract the used water volume. Water meter has twice alarm function, when the purchased water volume reaches to alarm volume, water meter will close valve and stop water supply. Customer can resume water supply by swiping his IC card on water meter. When the remains also are used up, water meter will stop water supply completely and the customer needs to charge his IC card again.

INSTALLATION
1) Smart water meter installation diagram:
2) Before installation, please
record the meter ID that is printed on the meter, and input it into the
corresponding user file in the management system.
3) The Water meter installation should be complied with GB/T778.2
installation requirements.
4) The caliber of smart water meter shall depend on the
caliber of the pipeline, and the
frequently used flow should be less than or close to the
common flow of the water meter; the installation location shall avoid
insolation, flooding, freezing and pollution, and convenient for installation,
removing and reading.
5) The direction of the arrow on the smart meter should be the same as the
pipe flow direction.
6) Clean
the pipe before installation to avoid threads, tones or other sundries in the
pipeline from causing malfunction of the meter.
7) If the water meter is installed at the
inlet side of the boiler, it is better to install a check valve at the outlet
of the meter to prevent the boiler hot water and steam from flowing
back and
damage the internal parts of the water meter.
8) When in use, if there is no water or too many bubbles inside the pipe,
the water meter will detect immediately and display “○”on the
upper left corner of the LCD.
9) If the air bubble content in the pipeline is high, in order to prevent the
influence of bubbles on the metering, please install as recommended in the
following figure to remove
the air bubbles in the pipeline.
