Collector is important and indispensable equipment, and it works as the communication transfer station of measuring meter and concentrator in remote meter-reading system.

Collector receives the uplink command of to do meter-reading and then transfers to the measurement meters, and can get the meter-reading in real-time and will upload the data to the AMR software; furthermore, the collector can also receive the uplink control command to realize the remote valve control and parameter setting.

This system has the good performance of compatibility and expansibility, so it is not only can be used for one kind of meter, but also can be used for gas/water/energy/heat meters.

INSTALLATION

1. The collector installation adopts wall-mounted type. With 3 fixed holes, it can be fixed on the wall directly.

2. The collector should be installed inside buildings; When installed outdoor, should collocate outdoor defending box, and should be fixed on the place where with no rain and no hard light. The place should also be lower than the lightning protection network.

3. The collector should be installed on the place where the measuring meters are installed centralized.

4. The supply power for the collector should be stable, and avoid the failure of the data collection caused by power supply interruption. The power line should select 2×0.5mm2 or thicker line, and install leakage protector.
