HOW TO USE
RLB series heat meter is a kind of instrument used to measure and display the released heat power when the heat-carrying liquid pass through the heat exchange system.
RLB heat meter is consisted of flow sensor, microprocessor and matched pair temperature sensor. The microprocessor gets the flow signal through flow sensor and the signal of water temperature at the entrance and exit from the temperature measuring circuit, and then calculates released heat by the heat-carrying liquid according to the standard heat calculation formula.
Our heat meter can add M-BUS function, which supported by collector, concentrator and software to realize remote meter-reading. The management center can read the meter data at any time, which is very convenient to control the user’s power consumption.
The meter is designed and developed on the reference of the European Standard EN1434 and OIML-R75 International Standard, and with high performance and low energy consumption, and in line with the product standard CJ128-2007 Heat Meter issued by Ministry of Construction of China.
FUNCTIONS
1. Alarms when voltage is low.
2. Intelligent reduction of consumption according to the rate of flow.
3. Alarms when the temperature sensor is disconnected or has a short circuit.
4. LCD display, with high definition and wide temperature range.
5. Flow rate has 8 levels and are separately adjusted, with high precision.
6. Adopt jewel bearing, straight pipe structure design, strong ability of shocking resistance, and anti-blocking.
7. Optical interface, long distance communication, can read meter by PDA.
8. M-BUS communication.

INSTALLATION
1.
Before installation, the pipes should be cleaned up firstly in case of pipes
block which will influence normal working of heat meter. And we suggest that it
will be better to install filter device in front of the heat meter.
2.
Heat meter should be installed at the place of water outlet of the pipe, to
avoid pollution, and make it easy for dismantling and check.
3.
Heat meter should be installed horizontally (with the side of display upward),
the direction of arrow should be the same with that of the water flow direction
in the pipe.
4.
The inlet temperature sensor (line with red label) should be installed on the
joint of the water entrance, and the outlet temperature sensor (line with blue
label) should be installed on the joint of the water exit.
5.
Don’t use excessive force when connecting meter and pipe in order to avoid
crushing sealed washer and cause water leaking.
6. Handle with care when delivery and avoid store the meters in strong
magnetic field.
